Quilters attending the Tales of the First Ladies block-of-the-month class at Hoovers Bernina Sew completed all twelve blocks on Monday, February 17, 2025. This is a great group of ladies who are working hard to complete their quilt tops. The fellowship and laughter in this group are priceless. The last two classes will focus on quilt layout and designing of center medallions.

To start off 2025, The Kackling Kousins will be at Hoover's on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 10:00-3:00 to teach the Quilt-As-You-Go Civil War Style technique.
If you have a stack of quilt blocks pieced together waiting to be quilted into a beautiful quilt, this class is for YOU! It's also an excellent opportunity for The Kousins to introduce you to ditch quilting, free motion quilting, and quilting with rulers.

"Bag a Doe or Sew?" was an easy question for these quilters at Hoovers to answer on December 2. From 10:00-3:00 Deer Season and the hustle bustle of the Holiday Season were forgotten. Everyone was "cackling" as The Kousins helped the quilters complete their table mats. Their color selections were amazing and the finished table mats were beautiful. It was so nice to spend the day with new and old quilting friends! Take a look at the highlights that took place at this "Hen Party" . . .
The Kackling Kousins spent two days at Hoovers in November. What a joy to be part of the Hoover Family teaching quilting skills and techniques to such great people.
As 2024 flies by, the quilters participating in the Tales of the First Ladies Block-of-the-Month have been so successful. To date, we captured the blocks they have completed. Watching their fabric selections come to life into this beautiful wall hanging is so exciting for us. Take a look at their accomplishments.
